Bio
Lauren La Bella (b. 1993, New York) received a BFA in Painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. She has participated in group and solo exhibitions throughout the United States, and has collaborated with artists from all over the world. La Bella has a background in fashion and photography; both of which heavily influence her work process, techniques, and materials. Although tattooing primarily at this time, La Bella works with a wide variety of media including but not limited to: acrylic and oil paint, watercolor, graphite, installation, and time-based media, working in both small and large scale.
La Bella has been professionally tattooing since 2017, and is currently working out of private studio BlackSails Studio in Sayville, New York. Prior to BlackSails, she founded, operated, and worked from her own private tattoo studio and fine art gallery in Huntington Village.
